Data Residency

You decide the Azure geographic region where your digital assets will be stored, and your data always encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2) and at rest (AES 256).

Data Recovery

A primary and secondary datacenter will host three copies of your data – so there will always be 6 copies of your assets across two geographically-separate locations!

Reliability

MediaValet is GDPR, CCPA and PIPEDA compliant, and is able to assist customers with their DPA (Data Processing Agreement) requirements. MediaValet offers data residency guarantees in 14 countries, including the US, Canada, Australia, and the UK.

HIPAA

MediaValet is HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) compliant and able to assist customers with their BAA (Business Associate Agreement) requirements.

Permission-based access

Access

Enable secure access with MediaValet’s internal role-based access control system (RBAC) or single-sign on integrations into Azure Active Directory, Okta, Google and SAML 2.0.

Permissions

User-based permissions, such as custom category access and asset actions, provide additional layers of control to prevent unauthorized asset use.

Sharing

Optional passwords, expiry dates and watermarks ensure that files are shared securely with anyone (employees, customers, partners and vendors.)

Logs

Audit logs of all operations on digital assets (i.e. view, upload, download, edit, comment, etc.) are available and provide visibility into the custodial chain of ownership.
