Vancouver, BC – June 23rd, 2022 – MediaValet Inc. (TSX: MVP) (the Company), a leading provider of enterprise digital asset management and creative operations software, is pleased to announce that it was selected by the producers of a highly rated, multi-year television drama series (“the Customer”). Commenced in June 2022, with first-year billings of $113,000, the auto-renewing subscription includes MediaValet’s enterprise digital asset management (“DAM”) platform; Audio/Video Intelligence (“AVI”) engine; Hootsuite and monday.com integrations; and professional services covering implementation and ongoing training and support.

Now in its second season, the Customer has already built an engaged following with critic ratings near 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. While the Customer has a small team of employees, it has significant amounts of video content that needs to be distributed to a vast number of networks and partners. As a result of the large file formats, extensive video AI processing, complex search requirements, high volume of daily transactions, and global access points, the Customer required a global enterprise DAM solution. After an extensive formal review process, the Customer selected MediaValet as their DAM of choice.

“We’re honoured to be part of the team supporting of this exciting TV series and believe that winning their business is a direct result of our industry-leading video content management, discoverability and distribution capabilities,” commented David MacLaren, Founder and CEO of MediaValet. “This win is a great example of the intersection of our investment in R&D (which has created our leadership position in enterprise video content management), our understanding of the key market drivers and needs (which helps us to build the right features to increase our addressable market and win an outsized share of the growing DAM market), the greenfield dynamics and digitization trends driving DAM growth, and the effectiveness of our expanded go-to-market strategies (the Customer lead came through our direct marketing campaigns). This is also a great example of the industry-agnostic nature of DAM – we truly have a solution that is needed by marketing, creative, IT and operations teams in every industry across the globe, and across all sizes of organizations.”

Vancouver, BC – April 26th, 2022 – MediaValet Inc. (TSX: MVP) (the Company), a leading provider of enterprise digital asset management and creative operations software, is pleased to announce that it was selected by a well-known global developer, manufacturer and distributor of pharmaceutical and skincare products (“the Customer”). Commenced on March 31, 2022, with first-year billings of $133,000, the auto-renewing subscription includes MediaValet’s enterprise digital asset management (“DAM”) platform; Audio/Video Intelligence (“AVI”) engine; Salesforce and monday.com integrations; Active Directory single sign-on module; and professional services covering implementation, library management and ongoing training and support.

The Customer has built an exciting global brand and has been a consistent high-performer on the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies list every year for nearly the last decade. Their award-winning and science-based consumer products are backed by over 35 years of research and nearly 100 global patents. As with most organizations today, they are increasingly relying on fresh and consistently branded digital content to reach their customers and to continue attaining their growth objectives. At the same time, given the scientific nature of their products, they need to ensure that their high-value content – from designs to patents, scientific papers to clinical studies, product information to educational videos – is secure yet accessible at all times. With the increasing requirement to be a digital-first organization and the proliferation of content to support this initiative, the Customer needed to replace their legacy digital asset management system with a solution that is capable of meeting their rapidly expanding and increasingly mission-critical needs. After an extensive formal review process, the Customer selected MediaValet as their DAM of the future.

“We’re proud that our innovative and cutting-edge enterprise DAM offering is resonating with global organizations who have realized that content is now a mission-critical element of their current and future success,” commented David MacLaren, Founder and CEO of MediaValet. “We see agreements like the one announced today as ongoing validation that our investment and go-to-market strategies continue to put us at the forefront of the rapidly growing global digital asset management industry. The majority of the growth in the DAM market that we’re seeing is from greenfield customers, however, we also believe that pressure is building on legacy vendors, as many are not designed to deal with the mission-critical digital content needs of today’s digital-first organizations. We believe this pressure will lead to further disruption in the legacy DAM industry.”

Added Dave Miller, CFO, “We couldn’t be happier to see 2022 off to the fastest start of any fiscal year to date. This is the fourth large new customer win in Q1’22 and is unprecedented for a first quarter, which is normally our seasonally slowest for net new ARR (“NNARR”). Some of this is likely due to pent-up demand starting to release from the last two pandemic-affected years; however, the work environment – and the demands it puts on organizations – has also changed significantly since March 2020. This Customer in particular began looking into replacing their incumbent DAM and initially contacted us just before the pandemic hit. After going on hold for nearly two years, they reignited their DAM upgrade project early this year and were ready to assess vendors and move quickly – resulting in just a 35-day sales cycle. With this win in place, we are now ahead of plan and are expecting Q1’22 NNARR to exceed all previous Q1’s and, for the first time, to exceed the $838,000 reported in Q4’21.”

Vancouver, BC – April 21st, 2022 – MediaValet Inc. (TSX:MVP) (the Company), a leading provider of enterprise digital asset management and creative operations software, is pleased to announce that it was selected by a leading manufacturer of physical security products (“the Customer”). Commenced on March 31, 2022, and with first-year billings of $75,000, the auto-renewing subscription (“Subscription”) includes MediaValet’s enterprise digital asset management (“DAM”) platform; Audio/Video Intelligence (“AVI”) engine; Active Directory single sign-on module; CreativeSPACES; and professional services covering implementation, and ongoing training and support.

Over its 40+ year history, the manufacturer has developed a successful household brand that is synonymous with innovation, safety, quality, value and service. The Customer has long known that they will need to digitize to ensure the continuity and ongoing success of their business, and in fact, originally purchased MediaValet in 2013 for this very purpose. However, after experiencing difficulty aligning their teams behind the timing of their digital transformation plan, the company decided to put their DAM initiative on hold. Eight years later, the team is aligned and ready to initiate their original vision and plan for their digital transformation. After an extensive review of the current DAM market, MediaValet was selected again as their trusted DAM vendor.

“This is a very meaningful win for us,” commented David MacLaren, Founder and CEO of MediaValet. “It’s one of those instances where the hard work we’ve put into building our product is on full display. The Customer was amazed at the progress we’ve made on our vision, and the powerful and innovative solution we’ve continued to develop since they originally experienced it eight years ago. At the end of 2013, MediaValet was in its infancy with just 25 customers and a small team, compared to today with over 400 customers and a team of over 100 employees. Since that time, we can proudly tout a number of first-to-market differentiators that highlight our innovative approach, including CreativeSPACES and our AVI engine which were licensed by the Customer. We truly stand apart from our competition with these types of innovations, along with our go-to-market strategy and our long-term vision for DAM. Besides the best-of-breed aspects of our business and products, our proven commitment to solving the DAM challenges faced by organizations today continues to benefit the long-term continuity and success of our customers.”

Added Dave Miller, CFO, “We’re pleased to see the accelerating DAM market trends translating to another positive development for MediaValet. We generally announce meaningful wins if they are more than double our average ARR size, and we’ve now announced four large new and expansion wins for Q1’22 for a total of $0.41 million in new business. This far exceeds the large new customer and expansion wins announced in Q4’21 ($0.29 million) and Q1’21 ($0.16 million). We see this as a positive sign that the momentum reported in Q4’21 – generating our second-largest net new ARR quarter in history – is continuing into Q1. This gives us increased confidence and validates our decision to double down on our long-term vision for DAM. As mentioned in our Q4 results, we expect our operational expansion in 2021 to start impacting our ARR growth in 2022 and believe we’re seeing the early signs that it’s unfolding as expected.”

Vancouver, BC – April 13th, 2022 – MediaValet Inc. (TSX:MVP) (the Company), a leading provider of enterprise digital asset management and creative operations software, is pleased to announce that it was selected by an award-winning brand advertising agency to fulfill the digital asset management needs of one of their major U.S. tourism clients (“the Customer”). Commenced in March 2022, and with first-year billings of $139,000, the auto-renewing subscription (“Subscription”) includes MediaValet’s enterprise digital asset management (“DAM”) platform; Audio/Video Intelligence (“AVI”) engine; and professional services covering implementation, training and support.

As the agency of record for a large state tourism bureau, and with the complex and continuously growing digital content needs of the bureau, the Customer was tasked with finding and managing a digital asset management solution that would support the bureau’s aggressive digital strategy. The Customer conducted a thorough search and evaluated several vendors to find the right DAM solution for their client. They selected MediaValet based on the Company’s audio/visual intelligence offering, its platform’s unmatched scalability and continuity, and the end-to-end customer experience that it delivers.

“Some of our largest customers are tourism bureaus and their advertising agencies,” commented David MacLaren, Founder and CEO of MediaValet. “We’re proud to have added yet another to the MediaValet family as tourism and hospitality are where we began our own DAM journey. Our competitive advantages truly shone in this use-case, from our “we care” mantra to our unlimited support and training, from our hyper-scalability to our commitment to generational continuity, and to the overall ease –of use of our DAM solution for all levels of users. These benefits are particularly important for agencies who develop high volumes of rich media assets for their clients, and who require a seamless process to share, distribute and manage those assets – on behalf of their clients – throughout the entire asset lifecycle. In use-cases like this, the confidence, security, and effectiveness that MediaValet delivers are critical to both the agency’s and its clients’ short and long-term success.”

Continued MacLaren, “As video makes up a significant portion of the assets to be managed, this win is yet another testament to the power and value that MediaValet’s industry-leading video offering and support delivers. This win has subsequently led to an exciting partnership with the customer that may allow us to introduce MediaValet to many other marquee brands.”

Added Dave Miller, CFO of MediaValet, “This is the second-largest new-customer-win announced in our first quarter of 2022; building on the momentum and success of our fourth quarter. This is particularly encouraging as Q1 is generally a seasonally slower quarter. We’re seeing pipeline and deal metrics that we’ve not experienced since 2019 – before the pandemic. As we’ve indicated previously, we believe that the pandemic is accelerating the digital transformation wave that’s sweeping industries around the world. This trend is a key driver behind the rapidly growing digital asset management market, which has been causing industry analysts to increase their projections for the DAM market.”

Vancouver, BC – April 5th, 2022 – MediaValet Inc. (TSX:MVP) (the Company), a leading provider of enterprise digital asset management and creative operations software, is pleased to announce that it was selected by a premier sports-related not-for-profit (“NFP”) foundation that provides learning and leadership programs to minority college students (“the Customer”). Commencing March 30th, 2022, and with first-year billings of $130,000, the auto-renewing subscription (“Subscription”) includes MediaValet’s enterprise digital asset management (“DAM”) platform; Audio/Video Intelligence (“AVI”) engine; single sign-on (SSO) module; Office 365 connector; and professional services covering implementation, training and support.

The Customer was founded nearly 50 years ago and, under the inspired and visionary leadership of its CEO, has grown exponentially since. Part of this success is the result of digitally transforming the organization, including the application process, identification and evaluation of the applicant pool, and an innovative website. With a wealth of historic media content in physical and unconnected formats, the next step in unlocking the potential of the foundation was to implement a highly scalable and intelligent digital asset management solution that could support the ambitions of the Customer.

“It’s truly an honour and privilege to help preserve and extend the legacy of such an impactful foundation,” commented David MacLaren, Founder and CEO of MediaValet. “We’re unique in the DAM industry in that we can provide a full enterprise-scale digital asset management solution, and yet still be easy to use and accessible to organizations of all sizes and industries. In addition, we have one of the best platforms available for video management and intelligence, which enables customers to seamlessly unlock the power of their video archives. This is particularly important in the NFP sector which often doesn’t have the infrastructure and funding to implement a traditional, complex enterprise DAM solution. We enable customers to quickly unlock the value of large media archives, as well as provide a platform for unlimited expansion as their DAM needs and resources mature.”

Continued Mr. MacLaren, “Over the past few years, we’ve been honing our NFP expertise around what we call our ‘human knowledge initiative’. This has seen us win the favour of some of the most renowned foundations in the world, representing legacies that have been built over decades of serving humanity across social, artistic, cultural, racial, educational, professional, medical and environmental areas. As a result, the NFP sector has been one of our fastest-growing segments with a 3-year CAGR of 111%, and it has now grown to over 10% of our customer base. We’re proud of our success in the NFP sector and are continuing to innovate new ways we can help bring to life the legacies these great organizations protect.”

Vancouver, BC – March 28th, 2022 – MediaValet Inc. (TSX:MVP) (the Company), a leading provider of enterprise digital asset management and creative operations software, is pleased to announce a $63,500 expansion under the master services agreement with one of its largest not-for-profit customers (“the Customer”). This is the first expansion of digital asset management (“DAM”) services since signing the Customer in September 2020, increasing its ARR to $255,000 effective March 31, 2022.

The original vision of the Customer was to implement a DAM capable of managing and archiving an extensive library, in a variety of media formats, and centralizing all of the organization’s digital media in a highly secure, redundant and accessible global platform. The Customer’s primary initiative in 2021 was to digitize priority assets, upload them to MediaValet, and apply Advanced Custom AI and AVI to help its team to sort, process and learn from its extensive collection of assets. The Customer chose MediaValet to leverage the latest in DAM, Cloud, and AI technologies, ensuring its past and future assets are preserved and easily discoverable for years to come.

“We’re extremely honored and proud to be partnered with this not-for-profit Customer,” commented David MacLaren, Founder and CEO of MediaValet. “Together, we are exploring how artificial intelligence, digital asset management and the Cloud can augment and revolutionize research and conservation at a global scale. Helping our customers solve real-world challenges with exciting new technologies not only helps us grow our revenue base directly, but also expands our competitive advantage, increases our win rate and average deal value, and validates our vision for DAM. This commitment to our customers’ success and innovative approach has been rewarded with a net retention rate in excess of 100% for the past two consecutive quarters. We believe this is testament to our go-to-market strategy and our continued investment in product development and customer success.”

Continued Mr. MacLaren, “We’re building a differentiated enterprise DAM that can uniquely satisfy the needs of any size organization, in any industry, anywhere in the world. Today’s announcement is yet another sign that our strategy is working; that our vision of connecting all departments throughout an organization with a foundational ‘asset management layer’ is resonating with organizations.”

Vancouver, BC – January 26th, 2022 – MediaValet Inc. (TSX:MVP) (the Company), a leading provider of enterprise digital asset management (“DAM”) and creative operations software, is pleased to announce that it was selected by one of the world’s largest and most popular international film festival organizations (“the Customer”). Commencing December 31st, 2021, the three-year agreement includes first-year billings of $174,000; an auto-renewing subscription (“Subscription”) to MediaValet’s enterprise digital asset management (“DAM”) platform, Audio/Video Intelligence (“AVI”) services, Adobe Creative Cloud integration; and professional services covering implementation, training and support.

During the Customer’s renowned history of showcasing the best in filmmaking to global audiences through year-round festival programming, it has amassed an impressive number of high-value and historic films, as well as terabytes of event and promotional media. Without a true enterprise digital asset management system, the Customer’s assets have been extremely difficult, if not impossible in many many cases, to access, search, share and monetize. With this agreement, they’ve taken the first step towards bringing their asset to life, with the goal of leveraging their historic film archive to increase the value they deliver to their members, the film industry and global audiences. MediaValet was selected for the scalability, redundancy and security of its enterprise DAM platform, and its industry-leading artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI) capabilities.

“Our ability to apply AI to massive film archives, making previously siloed and unknown assets suddenly discoverable and easy to access at the click of a mouse button, is attracting an entirely new set of mid and enterprise customers”, commented David MacLaren, Founder and CEO of MediaValet. “A material percentage of these customers are in the not-for-profit (“NFP”) sector; a source of great pride for us. It truly is humbling to help these organizations uncover material value from the vast legacies they’ve built in the service of art, culture, environment, biodiversity and general human knowledge. Building our software to address the largest DAM use-cases has opened up markets we never imagined. Today, we are the clear choice for any organizations that have massive video archives. We’re excited by the vision of our newest customer and look forward to achieving things they’ve never imagined possible – before now.”

Vancouver, BC – January 13th, 2022 – MediaValet Inc. (TSX:MVP) (the Company), a leading provider of enterprise digital asset management (“DAM”) and creative operations software, is pleased to announce a $120,000 expansion under the master services agreement with one of its largest customers and one of the world’s leading media and entertainment companies (“the Customer”). This is the Customer’s fourth expansion of the Company’s services since choosing MediaValet in 2019; more than doubling its original annual recurring license for services to $774,000, effective with its December 31, 2021 renewal.

The original vision of the Customer was to implement a DAM capable of centralizing all of the organization’s digital media in a highly secure, redundant and accessible global platform. This was a shift from the Customer’s previous approach of decentralized and siloed management of their assets. The Customer expected this shift to increase efficiency, reduce operating costs and infrastructure complexity, and increase the reach and ROI of their assets.

“We believe this expansion, along with the other three since 2019, speaks volumes of our success in delivering an enterprise-class cloud DAM solution that meets the demanding and ongoing requirements of an enterprise organization of the scale and worldwide presence that puts it in the top ten of global media companies,” commented David MacLaren, Founder and CEO of MediaValet. “Simply put, we win by helping our customers win, and winning with a customer of this size is highly impactful across our business. It not only helps us grow our revenue base directly, but also our capabilities overall as they continually challenge us to push the limits of scalability that only a small handful of vendors can achieve today. We’re extremely proud to be among this group – especially as the only 100% cloud-based DAM vendor. “

Continued Mr. MacLaren, “We’re truly building something different; a pure, cloud-based DAM that can meet the enterprise DAM needs of any size company, no matter where they’re located or how many locations, people, partners, vendors or assets they have – we simply can’t be outgrown. Announcements like today’s reinforce that our vision and strategy are working. As the DAM market accelerates towards US$10 billion in 20261, we’re confident that the lion’s share of the growth will come from addressing enterprise DAM use cases across all company sizes and industries. We believe that our vision and strategy are tightly aligned with these market trends and that we’re on the right path to materially increase our market share as a worldwide leader in DAM in the years ahead.”

Vancouver, BC – November 10, 2021 – MediaValet Inc. (TSX:MVP) (the Company), a leading provider of cloud-native enterprise digital asset management (“DAM”) and creative operations software, and FFW, an award-winning global digital experience agency, today announces a new partnership, enabling enterprise organizations to achieve digital scale faster and with a higher degree of success.

Despite many organizations attempting digital transformation at scale, a report from Gartner found that 60% of organizations that attempt to achieve digital scalability fail[1]. As a global digital experience practitioner, FFW helps over 500 clients, such as Pfizer, Panasonic and General Electric, accomplish digital excellence at scale, unlocking new capabilities, streamlining control and achieving sustainable business impact. With an unlimited user and category structure, user-friendly UI, easy-to-use API, infinite scalability, and industry-leading redundancy, compliance and security, MediaValet is the ideal digital asset management partner to incorporate into FFW’s customers’ Digital Experience Platforms (DXPs).

“Organization-wide accessibility of content and assets is an imperative aspect to achieving digital scale,” said FFW Senior Director of Partnerships, Ricardo Osuna. “MediaValet’s ability to organize and govern digital assets at scale as an organization grows aligns seamlessly with our winning approach to helping clients achieve digital scale.”

With this new partnership, FFW customers will be able to aggregate, secure, organize and access their digital assets at scale, as their organizations grow. Through out-of-the-box and deep custom integrations, facilitated by FFW, organizations will be able to support internal processes, streamline the creation of digital assets, and expedite the distribution of those assets to relevant audiences – all at scale, within a highly secure and six times redundant environment.

“As organizations take on digital transformation, it’s critical for them to be able to confidently scale – by design – to meet the needs of their organization – both today and tomorrow,” said MediaValet Head of Strategic Partnerships, Fraser Charles. “Today, DAM provides the foundation for all future-focused marketing technology stacks and is a critical component for organizations to scale their digital initiatives. We’re thrilled to combine MediaValet’s API-first approach and platform scalability with FFW’s expertise delivering integrated strategies, design and development to fuel organizations’ digital ambitions.”
