We’re thrilled to announce that MediaValet is now hiring a Business Development Representative to join our growing team! MediaValet is a cloud-based DAM that helps Marketing and Creative teams across all industries easily manage, collaborate on, and distribute their digital content. With unlimited users, support, and training, MediaValet is fast and easy to use. It's trusted by leading brands like Experian, Margaritaville, Brand USA and TDIndustries.

In this role you will report directly to Director of Business Development, and you will be responsible to use your knowledge and work alongside our awesome sales team to help educate companies about our software. It’s our job to source new opportunities for the sales team through active and consistent prospecting.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Be familiar with and comfortable using client relationship management software (CRM) preferably Salesforce.
  • Proactively seek out new opportunities for business growth.
  • Participate in the evaluation of new technologies to help increase productivity levels of the Business Development Team.
  • Research the market for new business opportunities.
  • Pinpoint individuals whose team would benefit from a DAM system.
  • Use sales engagement tools to market our software to these individuals.
  • Cold call approximately 50 prospects per day, via phone, email and personalized video touches.
  • Set up meetings between the qualified opportunities and an Account Executive from MediaValet.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience in the SaaS industry
  • 2+ years of experience working with outbound and inbound lead generation
  • Have experience working as a leader within a sales department is preferred
  • Experience working with a CRM
  • Stellar written and verbal communication skills in English and can articulate clearly with ease.
