YES, OUR DAM IS PRETTY! (THERE, WE SAID IT.)

The old adage is true (and yes, we’re big on adages) … “design matters”.

Digital asset management software has been around since the first digital cameras were produced but that doesn’t mean that its been done right. When we started building MediaValet, we were the first to create a digital asset management system entirely from scratch in the Cloud. Starting with a blank slate allowed us to completely re-imagine how a digital asset management system should be designed. Having spent the previous ten years creating millions of images for the world’s top hotels (over 14,000 of them), we had a unique perspective of the challenges people faced managing their digital assets.

Since the beginning, we focused on design. No matter how powerful a software program is, we firmly believe that if it isn’t easy to use – and visually appealing – it won’t “cross the chasm” and go beyond early adopters. With design as one of our core beliefs, we spend a lot of time thinking about the look and feel, and the usability, of every feature we add to MediaValet.

The design of MediaValet is a direct extension of who we are. We like things simple, fun and light-hearted – yet massively powerful. Once you’ve experienced MediaValet first hand, we think you’ll agree, it embodies all of this and more.

Our clean, open, and friendly design is simply nice look at and experience. Our design team spends countless hours researching, designing and re-designing every aspect of MediaValet. We’ve thought through and tested everything from how assets are previewed, to the location and style of buttons, to font styles and colours. The result is DAM impressive if we do say so ourselves.

As a side note, MediaValet wouldn’t be half the product it is today without the help of our customers. To all of those who have shared your ideas and helped make MediaValet what is today, thank you from the bottom of our hearts – we’re eternally grateful.

    We'd been frustrated with the process of finding assets for years. The final straw came mid-2014 when we actually played "rock, paper, scissors" to determine who would search for a photo that had been taken 10 to 12 years ago of a man with a beard, standing next to a white truck.
